Verdan Name Generator

Verdan are the green-skinned goblinoids introduced in Acquisitions Incorporated for D&D 5e: a young race reshaped by the chaos entity That-Which-Endures, curious, telepathic, and prone to sudden physical changes as they grow. Their names reflect that youth. Verdan have no ancient naming tradition of their own, so the examples in the book are short and unfussy, one or two syllables with soft doubled consonants and open endings: Pelleb, Ukri, Kedda, Quelli, Senneck, Aanda, Thorbeck, Rit. They sound like goblin names with the menace sanded off, which is exactly the point.

Because verdan usually take names from whoever raised them, a surname is a choice rather than a given. Some carry a human or halfling family name from a foster home (Pelleb Greenshift, Tarri Halloway), some use a hometown epithet (Arrik of Waterdeep), and some earn a byname that describes a molt or growth spurt, since verdan literally change shape as they age (Fenna Twicegrown, Kibba Thirdskin). A handful adopt plain nouns as names, the way a child might pick a word it likes.

The list mixes the published verdan names with original ones built on the same phonology, then adds surnamed and epithet forms so you can name a player character, a clerk at a Head Office franchise, or a whole verdan enclave in one pass.
