Acceptance of Terms

Name Generator Central (namegeneratorcentral.com) is operated by Click Clack Labs LLC, a company based in the United States ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the site. If you are under 18, use it with the permission of a parent or guardian.

Using the Site

Name Generator Central is free to use, with no account required. The website itself, including its design, code, written guides and the compiled name lists as a collection, belongs to us. You may not:

• Copy, scrape or republish the site or substantial parts of its name lists or written content as a competing website, dataset or app
• Attempt to reverse engineer or interfere with any software on the website
• Remove any copyright or other proprietary notices from the materials

Generated Names

We do not claim ownership of individual generated names. You are free to use the original names you find here, for personal or commercial projects, including:

• Writing, storytelling and other creative projects
• Gaming and role-playing
• Businesses, products, brands, teams and usernames
• Educational purposes

This does not extend to names that belong to someone else. Generators based on a book, film, show, game or other franchise may list or echo the names of existing characters, places and brands. Those are included for reference and fan use, they remain the property of their owners, and we cannot give you permission to use them commercially.

We do not check names against trademark, company or domain registers, and we make no promise that a name is available or free for you to use. Before using a name commercially, run your own trademark, business-name and domain checks. You are responsible for how you use a name.

Trademarks and Fan Content

Some generators are inspired by books, films, games and other franchises. Name Generator Central is an unofficial fan resource and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of those rights-holders. All franchise names, characters and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and are referenced for descriptive, fan and creative purposes only.

If you own rights in something on the site and want it changed or removed, email [email protected] with the page address, the names or text concerned, and a short explanation of your rights in them. We read every notice and aim to reply within five working days.

Advertising

The site is supported by third-party advertising, managed on our behalf by Mediavine. Ads are selected and delivered by those advertising providers, and we do not endorse the advertised products or services. Any dealings you have with an advertiser are between you and that advertiser. Advertising and analytics providers use cookies as described in our Privacy Policy. Humorous and mature-themed generators are intended for entertainment and fiction only.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use the site:

• For anything unlawful, or to help someone else break the law
• To harass, impersonate or defame a real person with a name you found here
• To try to gain unauthorized access to our systems or those of our providers
• With automated tools that overload the site or collect its content in bulk

Service Availability

We strive to keep Name Generator Central available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily suspend or restrict access to our service for maintenance, updates, or other reasons without prior notice.

Disclaimer

The site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any name is suitable, original or available for your purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Click Clack Labs LLC and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site, even if we have been told that such damage is possible. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep any rights that the law of the country where you live says cannot be taken away by contract.

Your Responsibility

If you break these terms, for example by scraping the site or by using a name in a way that infringes someone else's rights, and that causes a claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and losses we suffer as a result, to the extent the law allows.

Accuracy of Materials

The name lists and written guides on the site may contain mistakes, including errors of spelling, meaning, history or translation. We do not warrant that anything on the site is accurate, complete or current, and we may change or remove content at any time without notice.

Our service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Name Generator Central. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

Governing Law and General Terms

Any dispute arising out of these terms or your use of the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you submit to the jurisdiction of those courts. This does not remove any protection or right to bring a claim that you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the site. If we do not enforce a term straight away, that does not mean we have given it up.
