Seven Deadly Sins Name Generator

Names in The Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai) run on a formula worth learning before you build an OC. Each Sin carries a three-part title: given name, beast, and sin, as in Meliodas the Dragon's Sin of Wrath or Ban the Fox's Sin of Greed. The beast is the animal tattooed on the character and echoes their temperament: a lion or peacock for pride, a fox or magpie for greed, a bear or tortoise for sloth. The Ten Commandments flip the pattern into a virtue that curses whoever breaks it: Zeldris of Piety, Galand of Truth, Gloxinia of Repose.

The human cast draws on Arthurian Britain with a loose Franco-English sound. Holy Knights are Gilthunder, Howzer, Griamore, Hendrickson, Dreyfus and Zaratras, and royals take the kingdom as a surname (Elizabeth Liones, Margaret Liones). Fairies get light, plant-like names (Helbram, Gerheade, Puora), giants get blunt ones (Drole, Matrona, Dolores), and demons and goddesses lean on harsh or angelic syllables (Fraudrin, Melascula, Ludociel, Tarmiel). Four Knights of the Apocalypse adds Scottish and Arthurian picks such as Percival, Lancelot, Tristan, Talisker and Ardbeg.

For an original character, pick the sin first, choose a beast that fits, then give the bearer a two- or three-syllable name that would sit comfortably next to Escanor or Merlin on the Boar Hat's roster.
