Bannerlord Kingdom Name Generator

When you found a kingdom in Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, the game hands you a name field and nothing else, and most players either type their own name or leave it as Kingdom of Something. A better name usually borrows the political vocabulary of the culture you conquered. Vlandia mirrors Norman feudalism, so duchies, marches and crowns fit (Duchy of Ocs Hall, Kingdom of Pravend). Sturgia is Norse and Slavic, which suits principalities, veches and grand princes (Grand Principality of Balgard). Battania is Celtic, so high kingdoms and clan confederacies work. The Aserai are Arabic-inspired: sultanates, emirates and Banu tribal names. The Khuzait draw on Mongol and Turkic steppe empires: khanates, uluses, hordes and khaganates. The three Empires are Byzantine, so successor states sound best as the Empire of a great city (Empire of Lycaron) or a republic named for its capital.

The list uses real Calradian towns and castles as anchors, brings back the Warband factions (Swadia, Rhodoks, Vaegirs, Nords, Sarranids, Khergits) for veterans, and adds original names in each style. Titles that describe the kingdom's founding, such as Realm of the Exiled Legion or Kingdom of the Broken Crown, work well for a mercenary company that turned itself into a state.
