Frost demons show up in a lot of places, and each tradition names them differently. In Dungeons & Dragons, cold-aligned fiends are usually devils rather than demons: the gelugon or ice devil, along with named archfiends like Belisarax, use harsh, sibilant infernal names full of z, x, and doubled consonants (Vhorzuul, Kryzathis, Zhal'thraxx). Anime fans know a completely different meaning: Frieza's species in Dragon Ball is often called the Frost Demon race, and every member has a cold pun name, such as Frieza, Cooler, King Cold, Frost, and Chilled.

A good frost demon name should sound like it hurts to say. Latin cold words (Gelidus, Frigus, Algor, Brumal) read as ancient and clinical; Russian winter vocabulary (Vyuga, Purga, Stuzha, Izmoroz) is guttural and unfamiliar to most English readers; and compound epithets like Marrowchill or Killingfrost work as titles for a demon lord's lieutenants. An infernal name plus an epithet, such as Isgorroth the Silent Blizzard, gives you an instant boss monster.

Pick the flavor that fits your setting: infernal for D&D and Pathfinder, folkloric for horror, and pun-based for Dragon Ball style characters.
