Generate Eliksni (Fallen) names in the style of Destiny's Eramis, Variks, Misraaks and Taniks: sharp k-and-s names for Dregs, Vandals, Captains and Kells, epithets like 'the Veiled' or 'Baron of Dusk', numbered Servitors and Splicers, and House names for your own Destiny fan fiction, clans and characters.

About Eliksni names

Eliksni names in Destiny share a tight sound: one to three syllables built on k, s, r, v and x, usually closed with -is, -iks, -aks, -as or -ix. Variks, Taniks, Skolas, Eramis, Kridis, Phylaks and Praksis all fit the template, and Bungie signals age or formality with doubled letters and long vowels, as in Craask, Pirrha and Misraaks, the Eliksni form of the name Guardians shorten to Mithrax. Female and male names are not distinguished by ending; Eramis, Eido and Drevis sit alongside Aksis and Vosik without any change in shape.

Rank is carried by what follows the name. Kells are named for their House (Solkis, Devil Kell; Skolas, Kell of Wolves), Archons and Barons take their House as a title (Riksis, Devil Archon; Yavek, Wolf Baron), and notable Captains earn an epithet: Taniks the Scarred, Beltrik the Veiled, Siviks, Lost to None. Servitors use a name plus Prime or a number (Sepiks Prime, Simiks-3), and Splicer designations such as Atraks-1 follow the same rule. Houses are always 'House of' plus a single evocative word: Devils, Kings, Wolves, Winter, Dusk, Salvation, Light.

The list opens with canon Eliksni from both games, then original names with and without titles, numbered Servitors, and spare House names for your own lore.

How to choose Eliksni names

  • Keep names short and consonant-heavy: two syllables ending in -iks, -is or -aks sounds like a Vandal or Captain, while a softer three-syllable name (Araskes, Elykris) reads as a Baron or priest.
  • Add rank through the title, not the name. 'Tirraks' is a Dreg; 'Tirraks, Scourge of Winter' is a Baron. Use the House as a title for Archons and Kells, and an epithet for individuals with a story.
  • Servitors and Splicer constructs get a number or the word Prime after the name (Kaliks Prime, Orbiks-11), and a docked Eliksni who becomes a Splicer often keeps the number as a mark of status.
  • For a new House, pick one word that says what the House survived or wants: House of Rain, House of Scar, House of Embers. Avoid the exact canon Houses unless your character belongs to one.
  • Eliksni doubled letters (Craask, Pirrha, Misraaks) are the quickest way to make a name sound ancient or Kell-born; use them sparingly so they keep their weight.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Eliksni and Fallen?

Eliksni is what the species calls itself; Fallen is the name humans gave them after the Whirlwind destroyed their homeworld Riis. Since Season of the Splicer and the House of Light's move to the Last City, Guardians increasingly use Eliksni, and the names in this generator fit either usage.

Why do Eliksni names end in -iks or -is so often?

Bungie established the pattern with the first game's bosses (Sepiks, Riksis, Aksor, Kaliks) and kept it for later characters like Variks, Misraaks and Phylaks. The endings are not gendered or rank-specific; they simply mark the name as Eliksni, the way -ûn and -ix mark Hive and Vex names.

How are Kells, Archons and Barons named?

Each gets a personal name plus a title drawn from their House or their deeds. Kells take 'Kell of Wolves' or 'Devil Kell', Archons and Barons take their House as an adjective (Winter Baron, Devil Archon), and individuals famous for something carry an epithet such as the Loyal, the Veiled or Queenbreaker.

Can I use these names for a Destiny clan or Fallen OC?

Yes. The original names are free to use for fan fiction, clan rosters, role-play or character concepts. The canon entries at the top of the list are included for reference and style; for a clan tag or OC, pick from the original Captain, Baron and House names further down.
