Lords of the Fallen Name Generator

Lords of the Fallen names lean hard into medieval Christendom. Most characters carry a plain Germanic, Latin or Celtic given name (Pieta, Tancred, Reinhold, Dervla, Percival, Delyth, Ursula, Isaac) and then a title from the church-militant world of Mournstead: Harrower, Exacter, Judge Cleric, Abbess, Crimson Rector, Hallowed Sentinel, Kinrangr Guardian. Bosses stretch the title into a full epithet set off by a comma, as in Pieta, She of Blessed Renewal or Gentle Gaverus, Mistress of Hounds, while lesser horrors drop the name and keep only the description: the Hushed Saint, the Congregator of Flesh, the Spurned Progeny.

The two other factions sound different on purpose. Rhogar demons and Adyr's cultists get harsh, consonant-heavy names with kh, zh and gr clusters and fire epithets. Umbral beings are named for what they do or what they lack: Bringer of Stillness, Skinstealer, the Starved, the Immured. The land itself supplies the rest, so a character can be anchored with 'of Calrath', 'of Skyrest' or 'of the Forsaken Fen' instead of a surname.

This generator mixes canon bosses and NPCs from the 2023 game and the 2014 original (Harkyn, Kaslo, Antanas) with hundreds of original names for your Lampbearer or Dark Crusader, for clergy and knights of the Hallowed Sentinels, and for Rhogar lords and Umbral remnants of your own making.
