Anadi Name Generator

Anadi are the shapeshifting spider-folk of Pathfinder Second Edition, introduced in Lost Omens: The Mwangi Expanse. They live in small jungle communities, revere weaving, and can take human form to trade with neighbours. Their names follow the sound of the region: open syllables, lots of vowels, and soft consonants such as n, m, l, w, y and k, with the Mwangi clusters ng, nd, mb, nw and gb turning up in the middle of words. Paizo's sample names, Anagasi, Ejulun, Ketefo, Nwande, Ombise, Tangi, Utaremi and Yelani among them, set the pattern: two to four syllables, almost never a hard final consonant, and no harsh sounds like kr, st or x.

The names in this list stay inside that pattern. Most are single given names, because anadi do not use family surnames in the published material. A smaller group pairs a given name with a second anadi word for players who want something that reads like a full name, and the final stretch offers Mwangi-style human-form names, since many anadi deal with outsiders in their human shape and adopt a name their neighbours can say easily. Pick the register that fits: a village weaver, a Magaambya student, or a trader in borrowed skin.
