Victorian Name Generator

A convincing Victorian name is a marriage of era-appropriate given name and a surname that carries the right social weight. Given names in the period ran from the sturdy biblical and royal stock (William, John, Mary, Elizabeth) through the medieval and classical revivals of mid-century (Edith, Arthur, Cornelius, Octavia) to the flowers and gems of the 1880s and 90s (Violet, Ivy, Ruby, Pearl).
