About darkin names
In League of Legends lore the Darkin are Shurima's Ascended warriors, corrupted after the Void wars and sealed by Targonian magic into the weapons they carried. That history is what a Darkin name has to carry. The canon five, Aatrox, Rhaast, Varus, Naafiri and Xolaani, share a distinct sound: doubled vowels (Aatrox, Naafiri, Xolaani), hard stops and sibilants (Rhaast, Xolaani), and stressed final syllables that feel ancient rather than elvish. Ascended names like Ta'anari, Ne'Zuk, Setaka, Naganeka and Horazi add apostrophe breaks and a pseudo-Egyptian cadence, and the best original Darkin names borrow from both lists.
A Darkin is also a weapon, so each one carries a second name in the form Name, the Darkin Weapon: the Darkin Blade, the Darkin Scythe, the Darkin Bow, and for Naafiri a dagger. Their legends add epithets too, such as the World Ender, the Arrow of Retribution and the Hound of a Hundred Bites, and these titles are often what mortals actually call the weapon.

- Decide what weapon the Darkin was sealed into before naming it, then give it the matching title: Sorraath, the Darkin Glaive. Unusual weapons (a chakram, a flail, a khopesh) make a more memorable Darkin than another sword.
