In Whiteout Survival you have two names the whole state sees: your chief name, which shows over your city and in every battle report and chat message, and your alliance name with its three-letter tag. Because the game is set in a frozen apocalypse where everything revolves around the Furnace, fire crystals, bear traps, Crazy Joe and the alliance rally, the naming culture is a blend of cold-weather imagery and blunt in-game slang. On a typical server you will see Frostmarrow and Coldsnap next to Rally Joiner, Lost My Shield and Fire Crystal Farmer.

The chief names that read best on the map are short, hard and thematic: one compound like Embervane, Icebound Warden or Furnace Keeper, or a real survival term such as Sastrugi, Firn or Nunatak that most players will not have seen before. Slang names work if you play the role (Bear Trap Bait, Garrison Ghost, Truce Tourist), and animal names borrowed from the game's beasts and pets (Titan Roc, Cave Lion, Frost Gorilla) always fit.

Alliance names follow warband logic: Sons of the Furnace, Wardens of the North, Howling North, Frozen Crown. Keep them short enough to read at map zoom, avoid names another alliance on the server already uses, and pick a tag that abbreviates cleanly.
