Mobile game names live under tighter constraints than console or PC titles. The name has to be readable under a tiny icon, short enough to survive truncation in store listings (about 30 characters), and distinctive enough that a player who heard it from a friend can type it into search and find it first time. That is why the charts are full of two-word, alliterative titles: Bubble Bakery, Merge Meadows, Penguin Parade. Alliteration and rhyme are not lazy here; they are memory aids.

Each sub-genre has its own vocabulary. Match-3 and puzzle games lean on sweets, gems and gardens (Candy Canyon, Gem Glider, Petal Push). Idle and clicker games signal their loop with Idle, Tycoon, Empire and Clicker (Idle Inkwell, Turnip Tycoon). Merge games put Merge in the title because players search for it. Cozy sims use small, warm nouns such as Cove, Cabin, Cafe and Nook, while runners and arcade games want motion: Dash, Leap, Drift, Rush. Pocket RPGs and tower defense titles borrow fantasy nouns but keep them playful (Dungeon Diner, Knight Knock).

Before committing, search the exact name on both stores, check the domain and social handles, and make sure the first word is one people will actually search for. A store subtitle can carry keywords; the name itself should carry personality.
