ARK Name Generator

Three things need naming in ARK, and each has its own style. Tribe names are public: they sit over every structure you own and in every tribe log, so the good ones either intimidate (Ragnarok Reavers, Giga Gate Garrison) or show in-joke fluency with the game (Narcoberry Collective, Kibble Farmers Union, Pillar Spam Preventers). Map references land well too: anyone reading them knows what Fjordur, Aberration or the Wyvern Trench means for your playstyle.

Tame names are where ARK players get creative. The classic move is a small name on a huge creature (Tiny the Giga, Nibbles the Rex) or a job description for utility dinos: Forklift for an Argentavis, Dump Truck for a Bronto, Lawnmower for a Theri, Hoover for a Doedic. Food names, weather names and granddad names (Gerald, Mildred, Bartholomew) are all established traditions, and ranks or titles make a boss-fight Rex army feel like a regiment. The in-game name field is short, so the punchiest names win.

Survivor names for your character tend to be grounded and a little rugged, in keeping with the implant-and-dossier lore, so this list includes realistic first-and-last names that read like explorers rather than fantasy heroes. Mix and match a tribe name, a survivor and a roster of tames, and you have a complete identity for your next wipe.
