Pick a team name or player alias for Senior Assassin: water-gun puns like Soaked and Loaded, graduation jokes like Cap and Gown Down, spy-style codenames like Agent Drizzle, and stealthy crew names like Silent Sprinklers.

About Senior Assassin names

Senior Assassin is the spring tradition where graduating seniors pay into a pot, get assigned a target, and try to soak them with a water gun before someone else soaks them first. Most games are run through an Instagram account or a group chat, and every team or player needs a name for the bracket, the elimination posts and the Venmo pool. The best ones do double duty: they sound a little menacing and they make the rest of the class laugh when they show up on the leaderboard.

The names that land usually pull from a few sources. Water puns are the backbone (Soaked and Loaded, Hydro Hitmen, Wet Work Crew). Graduation jokes tie it to the occasion (Cap and Gown Down, Tassel Hassle, Commencement Carnage). Spy and hitman language gives individual players a codename (Agent Drizzle, The Drencher, Count Drencula). And hiding-spot humor (Bush League, Cul-de-Sac Cartel, Lawn Chair Legion) nods to how the game is actually played: waiting in a driveway at 6 a.m.

This list mixes team names for duos and squads with solo aliases you can use as your bracket handle or Instagram tag. Keep it school-appropriate, since the game account is usually public and teachers see it.

How to choose Senior Assassin names

Pick a name that still reads well on a tiny bracket graphic or an elimination post. Two to four words beats a full sentence, which is why Splash Mob and Drip Check outlast longer jokes.
If you are playing as a duo or trio, combine a water word with a group word (Squad, Cartel, Syndicate, Brigade) so everyone in the chat instantly knows it is a team, not one person.
Solo players do well with a codename format like Agent Puddles or The Drencher; it fits the spy theme of the game and gives the host something to announce when you get a kill.
Avoid names that reference a specific classmate, a real weapon or anything a principal could screenshot. Most schools tolerate the game only while it stays obviously playful.
Lean into your strategy. Campers and early-morning lurkers earn names like Silent Sprinklers or Bush League, while aggressive teams suit Drive By Drench or Spray and Pray.

Frequently asked questions

What is a good team name for Senior Assassin?

The most popular style is a water pun with a little menace: Soaked and Loaded, Hydro Hitmen, Wet Bandits, Splash Mob or Silent Sprinklers. Graduation-themed names like Cap and Gown Down and Diploma Dealers also work well because they tie the game to senior year.

How do Senior Assassin codenames work?

Many games ask each player to register under an alias that gets posted on the bracket and in elimination announcements. Spy-style names (Agent Drizzle, Agent H2O), title names (Captain Soak, Count Drencula) and mock-menacing ones (The Drencher, The Wet Bandit) are the usual formats.

Should our Senior Assassin name be funny or intimidating?

Funny almost always wins. The game is tracked on a public Instagram page, and names that make the class laugh get more engagement and are easier for the host to say in posts. Intimidating names only land if they are also a pun, like Aqua Mortis or Liquid Lethal.

Can I use these names for a water gun assassin game that is not at school?

Yes. The list works for camp, college dorm, youth group or office versions of Assassin, Gotcha or Killer. Just skip the graduation-specific names like Tassel Hassle and stick to the water, spy and stealth ones.
