Dishonored Name Generator

Dishonored names sound like Victorian Britain seen through a slightly warped lens. Arkane built the Empire of the Isles on real surnames with an industrial, whale-oil flavor (Kaldwin, Pendleton, Havelock, Burrows, Rothwild, Curnow, Timsh) and paired them with given names that are old-fashioned or faintly off: Treavor, Custis, Hiram, Farley, Bundry, Thaddeus, Callista, Delilah. The trick is that nothing is invented outright; a name like Teague Martin or Lydia Brooklaine could almost appear in a Dickens novel, which keeps Dunwall grounded while the bone charms and rat swarms do the strange work.

Each island has its own accent. Gristol and Dunwall are English and Scots-inflected. Morley, the Empire's rebellious western isle, uses Irish names (Byrne, Foster, Lurk). Serkonos and its capital Karnaca lean Italian and Spanish (Attano, Abele, Stilton, Jindosh, Paolo), and Tyvia in the frozen north is Russian with a Mongolian edge (Sokolov, Yul Khulan). Names also signal rank: Lord and Lady for the aristocracy, Overseer and Brother for the Abbey of the Everyman, Doctor for natural philosophers, and a blunt street name like Slackjaw or Granny Rags for the gangs.

The list mixes the canon cast with original names built the same way, so you can populate a fan fiction, tabletop campaign or original story set in the Isles without anyone sounding out of place.
