Discord Role Name Generator

Discord roles do three different jobs, and good role names make it obvious which job each one does. Functional roles (Admin, Moderator, Helper, Verified, Server Booster) need to be readable at a glance in the member list, so they stay plain. Progression roles reward activity and work best as a themed ladder where the order is self-evident: Peasant to Knight to Duke to Monarch, Cadet to Captain to Admiral, Seedling to Sapling to Ancient Tree. Flavor roles (Night Owl, Local Cryptid, Touch Grass Champion, Menace to Society) exist purely so members can pick something that feels like them, and these are the ones people screenshot and talk about.

The best servers pick one theme and commit. A cafe server runs Barista, Regular Customer and Head Barista instead of Mod and Admin; a space-crew server uses Ensign, First Officer and Starship Captain. Keep the theme consistent across staff and level roles, then let color roles, pronoun roles and ping roles (Event Pings, Giveaway Pings) stay literal so nobody has to guess what they do.
