Creepypasta OC Name Generator

Creepypasta names grew out of internet horror forums, so they follow a handful of very recognisable formats. The oldest is the ordinary name plus a plain descriptor: Jeff the Killer, Jane the Killer, Eyeless Jack, Laughing Jack, Ticci Toby. The blandness is the point; a normal first name makes the horror feel like it could happen to your neighbour. A second format is the single-word handle used by proxies and masked figures (Masky, Hoodie, Clockwork), while entities that were never human get "The" plus a role or place: The Rake, The Observer, The Midnight Man, the Man in the Walls.

A whole branch of the genre is named after cursed media instead of people. BEN Drowned, Sonic.exe, smile.jpg, suicidemouse.avi and Candle Cove all sound like filenames or lost episodes, and a modern OC can borrow that trick with a corrupted filename, a room number or a radio frequency. Analog horror pushed this further with names like Channel 41 or Frequency 88.7.

When you build an OC, decide first what kind of thing it is: killer, proxy, entity or artefact. Then pick the matching format and give it one physical or behavioural hook (Stitchmouth Sadie, Six-Finger Sam, Whistling Wesley) so readers can picture it in a single line. Avoid piling on edgy words; one unsettling detail beats "Dark Shadow Blood Reaper" every time.
