Beastmen Name Generator

Beastmen are the Children of Chaos in Warhammer Fantasy and Age of Sigmar: goat-headed Gors, scrawny Ungors, Bestigors, Minotaurs and the Bray-Shamans who lead them. Their names are built to be bellowed across a clearing. Canon figures like Khazrak, Gorthor, Malagor, Morghur, Taurox and Ghorros show the pattern: one or two heavy syllables, hard consonants (kh, gh, zh, rr, k), open vowels, and endings such as -ak, -or, -ul, -ash and -oth. Longer names usually belong to Doombulls and Shaggoths, whose size earns extra syllables.

A Beastman's first name rarely stands alone once it has killed something worth remembering. Epithets are earned in the rut or in the raid: One-Eye, Four-Horn, the Brass Bull, the Dark Omen, Fellhoof, Warhoof, Hornbreaker. The best ones describe a wound, a deformity, a trophy or a crime against men, and the herd uses the epithet more than the name. Rank titles, Wargor, Beastlord, Bray-Shaman, Gorebull and Doombull, go in front and are often the only polite way a rival addresses them.

Warherds and brayherds are named after their herdstone, their forest or their defining atrocity: the Warherd of the Splintered Horn, the Sons of the Drakwald, the Children of Morghur. This generator mixes canonical names, original Gor and Ungor names, ranked leaders with epithets, Minotaur names and herd names to populate a whole brayherd.
