Arrancar names in Bleach follow a rule that is easy to state and hard to fake: they are Spanish, Italian, or Latin names bent slightly out of shape. Tite Kubo built most of them from the names of real architects and designers, then mangled the spelling, which is why Ulquiorra Cifer, Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez, Szayelaporro Granz, and Nnoitra Gilga feel both European and wrong. Hollows have no names until they tear off the mask, so the name an Arrancar takes is part of its rebirth, and the Spanish flavor ties them to Hueco Mundo, Las Noches, and the Spanish-language Resurrección, Cero, and Hierro terminology that surrounds them.
