Warframe names follow a very consistent pattern: one or two syllables, usually drawn from Latin, Greek, or world mythology, and always tied to the frame's theme. Excalibur is the sword, Nyx the goddess of night, Garuda the Hindu bird deity, Kullervo a tragic figure from the Kalevala, and Gauss the physicist of magnetism. Newer frames like Qorvex, Dagath, and Koumei keep that rhythm while reaching into invented or less familiar roots. If you are naming an original frame concept, the rule is simple: pick the ability theme first, then find a short mythic or scientific word that evokes it (Vestra, Ossuar, Ignea, Halcyon).

Player aliases and Operator names are a different problem. Tenno aliases in-game are usually a single handle, and the strongest ones borrow lore vocabulary such as Zariman, Kuva, Duviri, Void, Orokin, or Cetus, or use Orokin-flavored two-part names like Ordan Karris and Vala Glarios. Faction names have their own flavor: Grineer names are harsh and clipped (Vor, Ruk, Kril, Regor), Corpus names sound corporate and Latin (Nef Anyo, Parvos Granum, Alad V), Ostrons and Solaris United use warm, casual nicknames (Konzu, Onkko, Legs, Ticker).

Use the canonical list for reference, and the original names when you need something that fits the setting without colliding with an existing character.
