Vaporwave Name Generator

Vaporwave names are a visual joke as much as a musical one. The genre grew out of chopped and slowed 1980s and 1990s corporate music, elevator loops and Japanese city pop, and its artist names mimic the debris of that era: fake corporations (Luxury Elite, Internet Club, New Dreams Ltd.), consumer brands twisted slightly (Macintosh Plus, Saint Pepsi), Windows-era file names, and phrases lifted from mall announcements or airport lounges. Ｆｕｌｌｗｉｄｔｈ Latin letters, spaced-out capitals, and Japanese katakana or kanji tacked onto English words are the visual signature; the classic Floral Shoppe track title リサフランク420 / 現代のコンピュー set the template for mixing scripts.

The list above works through those layers deliberately: fullwidth English phrases, Japanese-language and mixed-script names, spaced-letter handles, plain-text corporate and record-label style names, marble-statue and Greek-bust references, numeric names in the mold of 2814 and 18 Carat Affair, and file-name jokes like sunset.wav or plaza.exe. Some are ready-made album titles, some are Bandcamp artist names, and the shorter ones make good Discord or Instagram usernames.

The best vaporwave names sound like something you would find printed on a 1993 brochure for a business that no longer exists. Aim for calm, glossy, and slightly hollow, never edgy or aggressive.
