Titanfall Name Generator

Titanfall names work on two levels, Titan and Pilot, and each has its own convention. Titans carry a factory designation of two letters and four digits, like BT-7274, the Vanguard-class Titan from Titanfall 2, or Ash's original chassis OS-6262. The letters are read in NATO phonetics, which is why Jack Cooper calls his Titan "BT" and the crew of the 6-4 shorten theirs the same way. Pilots then name their Titan informally, so the same machine can be BT-7274 on the manifest and "Old Reliable" over comms.

Pilot names follow military habit. Apex Predators use blunt one-word callsigns (Viper, Ash, Richter, Slone, Kane), Militia officers go by rank and surname (Captain Lastimosa, Commander Briggs), and mercenaries like Kuben Blisk use their real names because reputation is the product. A full Frontier pilot name usually looks like rank, given name, callsign in quotes, surname: Sergeant Dariusz "Hatchet" Wolski.

This generator covers all of those registers, plus Titan chassis callouts (Northstar, Ronin, Legion, Scorch, Ion, Tone, Monarch), squad names in the style of the Marauder Corps and the SRS, and capital ships with the MCS and IMS prefixes. Pick a designation for the manifest, a nickname for the hull, and a callsign for the Pilot who rides it.
