The Nemesis system combines a first name from a pool of Black Speech-style names (Ratbag, Brûz, Zog, Ûk) with a title drawn from the orc's traits, class or history (the Coward, the Chopper, Bone-Breaker). When an orc defeats or escapes you, gets burned, or is resurrected, the title can change to reflect it, which is why the same name can turn up as Mogg the Sly and later Mogg the Burnt.

If you need a character nobody will recognise, pick one of the original ones.

Yes. The game doesn't let you rename orcs directly, but these work for fan fiction, Nemesis roster write-ups, YouTube series naming, or as villains in a Lord of the Rings tabletop campaign. The epithets also make good nicknames for custom orc miniatures.

The circumflex marks a long vowel in Tolkien's Black Speech, as in Nazgûl and the Ring-inscription's durbatulûk (Tolkien wrote some orc names with an acute instead: Uglúk, Grishnákh, Lugbúrz). The games use it mostly for flavor, so Brûz sounds like "brooz" and Ûk like "ook". You can drop the accents if you're typing names somewhere that doesn't support them without losing the style.
