My Hero Academia Name Generator

My Hero Academia has three naming layers, and a good OC needs all of them. First is the civilian name, usually Japanese and often a hidden pun on the quirk – Bakugo Katsuki hides 'explosion' (bakuha), Todoroki contains 'thunder', Uraraka Ochako is a play on 'floating'. Second is the quirk name, a plain description of the power: One For All, Half-Cold Half-Hot, Zero Gravity, Hardening. Third is the hero name chosen in Midnight's class at U.A., where students pick something they can carry for a career: Red Riot in tribute to Crimson Riot, Uravity blending Uraraka and gravity, Chargebolt, Froppy, Creati.

Hero names in the series are short, mostly English, and either describe the quirk (Cementoss, Present Mic, Earphone Jack), sound like a brand (Hawks, Endeavor, Best Jeanist), or carry personal meaning (Deku turning an insult into a promise). Pro Heroes are often listed with an epithet – Rabbit Hero: Mirko, Wing Hero: Hawks, Flame Hero: Endeavor – and that format works well for OCs too. Villains go darker and blunter: Stain, Overhaul, Twice, Muscular, Dabi.

The list starts with canon Class 1-A, Class 1-B, Pro Hero and villain names, then adds original hero codenames built the same way, epithet-style Pro Hero titles, villain aliases, and Japanese civilian names suitable for a U.A. student. Mix one from each layer to give a character a full MHA identity.
