FFXIV Miqo'te Name Generator

Miqo'te names in Final Fantasy XIV encode a surprising amount of information, and the two clans use completely different systems. Seekers of the Sun put a single capital letter and an apostrophe before the given name; the letter marks one of the 26 tribes, so G'raha belongs to the Gull tribe and Y'shtola to the Y tribe. A Seeker woman's surname is her father's given name, which is why Y'shtola and her sister Y'mhitra are both Rhul. Seeker men do not use surnames at all: an unmated male adds Tia (G'raha Tia, X'rhun Tia), and a breeding male who has won his own harem adds Nunh (U'odh Nunh). Only a handful of Nunh exist per tribe.

Keepers of the Moon are matriarchal and drop the apostrophe entirely. Given names are soft, with lots of H sounds (Kuhia, Ejheh, Sahra), and the surname is the mother's family name, passed down the female line (Zhloe Aliapoh, Khloe Aliapoh). Keeper sons take their mother's given name and add a suffix showing birth order: 'a for the first son, 'to for the second, then 'li, 'sae, 'ra, 'ir, 'wo, 'ya, 'zi, and 'tan for the tenth. Zhai'a Nelhah, for example, is the first son of a Keeper woman named Zhai.

Roleplayers on FFXIV servers know these rules well, so a Seeker without a tribe letter or a Keeper male without a birth-order suffix will get noticed. Every name here follows the conventions exactly.
