Enderman Name Generator

Endermen do not have names in Minecraft, which is exactly why people invent them. A tall, silent mob that teleports, steals blocks, hates water and only attacks when you meet its eyes has more personality than most named characters, and it gives you three hooks. The first is its sound: Enderman noises are distorted, sometimes reversed, human speech, so reversed English (Redne for Ender, Diov for Void, Erats for Stare, Olleh for Hello) sounds like something an Enderman would call itself. The second is the End: ender pearls, chorus fruit, purpur, obsidian pillars, shulkers, the outer islands and the dragon are all name material. The third is the Enderman itself: the height, the purple eyes, the twitchy teleport, the stolen grass block.

This list covers all three. The invented names (Nythris, Korvath, Vaelus, Zirreth) lean on soft sibilants, hard k and x sounds and long vowels so they read as alien but pronounceable, good for Enderman OCs, End-born characters in fan fiction and SMP lore. The reversed-speech names are short and strange. The lore names and epithets (Pearlkeeper, Keeper of the Pearl, Nythris of the Last Island) suit a quest-giver or an ancient End NPC. The joke names (Slenderbob, Tall Dave, Don't Look At Me) are for name tags on a farm or a pet Enderman in a boat.
