For a quieter professional, a single call-sign word like Ghost, Shadow, Aegis or Sentinel reads better than a brute-force nickname.

Use the same rules as for men: a short, plain full name (Nina Volkov, Sarah Kincaid, Lena Brandt, Mia Okafor), a rank (Sgt. Briggs) or a clipped unisex nickname (Jo Maddox, Frankie Russo, Charlie Okonkwo). Avoid names that only signal glamour; real close-protection officers are meant to blend in.

A few nod to the genre: Frank Farmer is the bodyguard in the 1992 film The Bodyguard and Mike Banning leads the Olympus Has Fallen series, while Yojimbo, Sanjuro, the Varangian Guard, Praetorians, housecarls and the Swiss Guard are real historical bodyguard traditions. In fiction, using CPO or EP language for a character's background makes them sound like a trained professional rather than hired muscle.
