Vulpera Name Generator

Vulpera are the fox-like nomads of Vol'dun, the desert on Zandalar's western edge, and they joined the Horde as an allied race in Battle for Azeroth. Blizzard gave them some of the shortest names in World of Warcraft: Kiro, Nisha, Meerah, Hagashi, Norah. Almost every canonical vulpera has a single name of one to three syllables, with open vowels, a fair number of doubled consonants (Rikki, Kazzik, Tivvi) and none of the apostrophes or guttural clusters you find in Zandalari or Orcish. The overall effect is quick and scrappy, which suits a people who survive by caravan trading, scavenging and outrunning sethrak patrols.

Vulpera do not use family surnames in lore. Caravans are their social unit, so when players want a longer name they usually add a nickname or epithet earned on the road: Quickpaw, Sandfoot, Dustbelly, or 'the Sharp'. This list mixes canon names with original ones in the same phonology, a run of short one-syllable names for players who like a punchy handle, and a set of caravan nicknames you can attach to any given name.

When picking one, say it fast. A good vulpera name should be easy to shout across a camp and still sound friendly; if it takes more than a beat to pronounce, it probably belongs to a troll or a draenei instead.
