SkyClan Name Generator

SkyClan is the Clan that jumps. Founded by Clear Sky as Skystar, driven out of the old forest, and rebuilt in the gorge by Firestar and Sandstorm in Firestar's Quest, its cats are long-legged climbers who hunt in the branches. Their names carry that: prefixes from the sky and the wind (Sky, Cloud, Wren, Kite, Hawk, Sparrow), from the gorge (Pebble, Rock, Sandy, Gravel) and from the trees they climb (Plum, Sage, Nettle, Bracken), with a bias toward suffixes like -leap, -spring, -bounce, -flight and -branch that show up rarely anywhere else.

SkyClan also has the most unusual names in Warriors, because Leafstar let kittypets keep their Twoleg names when they joined as daylight warriors. Billystorm, Harveymoon, Macgyver, Egg, Snookthorn, Bellaleaf and Rileypool are all canon, and Leafstar's own son is Harrybrook. Nowhere else in the series will you meet a cat named after a person. If you want an OC that is unmistakably SkyClan, a kittypet prefix with a proper warrior suffix is the fastest tell.

The list below mixes canon SkyClan cats from the ancient Clan, the gorge years and the lake territory (Hawkwing, Violetshine, Rootspring, Needleclaw, Kitescratch) with new names built from the same vocabulary, so an OC can sit beside Leafstar without sounding like a visitor from ThunderClan.
