Science Fair Name Generator

A science fair title is a one-line summary of your experiment, and judges read it before they read anything else on the board. The strongest titles name the independent variable, the dependent variable, and nothing else: "The Effect of Soil pH on Radish Germination" tells a judge exactly what you changed and what you measured. The second reliable form is a direct yes-or-no question, like "Does Wheel Size Affect Mousetrap Car Distance?", which works because it promises data rather than a demonstration.

A title that only names a topic, such as "Volcanoes" or "Solar Energy", signals a poster instead of an experiment, and that costs points at almost every fair. If you want personality, use the colon format: a short hook followed by the real question, as in "Mold Rush: Which Bread Lasts Longest?" The hook earns attention and the second half proves there is a measurable variable behind it.

Aim for roughly six to twelve words. Include units or sample sizes only when they are the interesting part, and match the wording on your abstract, your logbook, and your board so the whole project reads as one piece of work.
