Your username is set when you create the account and cannot be changed afterwards, so it is worth picking something you will still like next season; a display nickname can be added later with Nitro Gold. Keep names short enough to fit on the results screen, skip symbols other than underscores, and check the name is readable when it scrolls past at speed. Teams also need a short tag of three or four letters, so if you plan to start one, pick a name that shortens cleanly.
