Ice Superhero Name Generator

Ice superheroes have one of the deepest vocabularies in comics. The classic approach is a single cold word used as a codename: Iceman, Blizzard, Glacier, Permafrost, Whiteout. Because the obvious ones are taken by Marvel and DC (Iceman, Killer Frost, Captain Cold, Frozone), original heroes tend to reach for less common weather and glacier terms: Hoarfrost, Verglas, Graupel, Sastrugi, Serac, Brinicle, Polynya, Diamond Dust. These sound specialised and a little dangerous, which is exactly the tone a cryokinetic needs.

The second source is science. Absolute Zero, Zero Kelvin, Cryonaut, Liquid Nitro, and Freon suit a tech-suit hero or a lab-accident origin, while Cryo- compounds (Cryostorm, Cryoflash, Cryonova) read as Silver Age. Myth and language give you the elegant options: Skadi, Khione, Boreas, Morana, Yuki-onna, Snegurochka, plus the words for ice and frost in other languages such as Givre, Escarcha, Ghiaccio, Moroz, and Fubuki. Two-word alliterative handles (Polar Prowler, Glacial Gladiator, Blizzard Baron) are the Golden Age style and work well for sidekicks and legacy heroes.

Whatever you choose, keep the hard consonants. Ice names should crack: k, t, z, and s sounds suit the powerset far better than soft vowels.
