ClanGen Name Generator

ClanGen is the fan-made Warrior Cats simulator where you run a Clan across generations, and its naming engine is part of its charm. Every cat gets a prefix and a suffix drawn from the game's own lists: a kit is born Mosskit, becomes Mosspaw at six moons, earns a full suffix such as -feather, -strike or -mumble at their warrior ceremony, and swaps it for -star if they ever lead. Because the game chooses freely, ClanGen names are quirkier than the books: Sootheart and Beetlestrike sit beside odd but beloved rolls like Hazelmumble.

The names here copy that range. Most are full warrior names built from animals, plants, weather, terrain and colours a forest cat would know, with the suffixes the game actually uses (-whisker, -wish, -fall, -bounce, -shade, -pool, -fang, -mumble). You will also find -kit, -paw and -star names for every life stage, scarred-cat names in the Broketail and Oneeye tradition, Clan names in the PrefixClan pattern the game rolls at Clan creation, and single-word loner and kittypet names like Pepper, Scrap and Mochi for cats your patrols meet outside the border.

Use them when a random roll does not suit a cat's pelt or personality, when renaming a recruited outsider, or when planning a new save whose founders should feel like a matched family.
