Chinese Company Name Generator

Real Chinese company names follow a formula you can hear once you know it. A registered mainland name has four parts: place of registration, a distinctive two-character name, the industry, and the legal form, so a firm is Shenzhen + Ruiyuan + Electronics + Co., Ltd. The distinctive part is almost always an auspicious pair of characters: hua (splendid, China), xin (new or trust), tai (peace), sheng (flourishing), long (dragon), feng (abundance), kang (health), rui (lucky), heng (lasting), jin (gold). Combine two and you get Huaxin, Ruifeng, Kangtai, Hengyuan, Jinlong: names that thousands of real firms share.

The trade word does the explaining: Keji (technology), Shiye (industrial), Maoyi (trading), Dianzi (electronics), Yaoye (pharmaceutical), Jituan (group), Konggu (holdings). Hong Kong and overseas Chinese firms romanise from Cantonese instead, which is why Wing Tai, Kam Wah and Shun Fat sound like a different country, and older Taiwanese firms keep Wade-Giles spellings like Hsin and Kuo. Old family shops end in hao, tang, zhai or ji (Fuyuan Hao, Baicao Tang, Lao Zhang Ji), while startups prefer two cute syllables or a doubled word: Qingting, Paopao, Kankan.

The list mixes every layer, with English translations where a Western reader would see them, so you can name a fictional conglomerate, a noodle shop, a Shenzhen hardware startup or a Hong Kong trading house.
