Castlevania Name Generator

Castlevania names split into two registers. The hunters carry ordinary European names with a gothic weight to them: Trevor Belmont, Sypha Belnades, Grant Danasty, Eric Lecarde, Reinhardt Schneider, Carrie Fernandez. The given names are plain and old-fashioned, and the surnames do the work, because in this series a surname is a bloodline with a whip or a spellbook attached. Dracula's side uses the opposite approach: single dread names (Olrox, Shaft, Striga, Godbrand), Latin and Goetic demon names (Legion, Galamoth, Malphas), and Wallachian and Hungarian aristocracy like Carmilla, Drolta Tzuentes, and Erzsebet Bathory.

The setting is Wallachia and its neighbours from the 11th century to 2036, so the original names here draw on Romanian, Hungarian, German, and French stock: Dragomir, Csejthe, Falkenrath, Vaucresson. Forgemasters, Speakers, Ecclesia adepts, and the nobles of Carmilla's court each get their own style, and the boss-style entries follow the series habit of naming monsters after their function or their lair rather than giving them a stat-block name.

Pick a hunter-clan name for a playable protagonist, a titled vampire for an antagonist, or a Speaker or village name for supporting cast. Canon characters are included for reference; use them as a style guide for your own OC rather than reusing them outright.
