Generate Alien Stage OC names in the style of VIVINOS's animated series: short, soft names for human contestants like Mizi, Sua, Till and Ivan, and harsh, clicking names for Segyein guardians like Urak, Unsha and Heperu. Made for fan characters, fan fiction, and Anakt Garden roleplay.

About alien stage names

Alien Stage, the animated music series from the Korean studio VIVINOS, splits its cast into two naming worlds. The human contestants raised in Anakt Garden have short, soft names that read easily in any language: Mizi, Sua, Till, Ivan, Luka, Hyuna, Hyun-woo, Dewey, Isaac. Some are plainly Korean, some Western, and several are one or two syllables that end on an open vowel, which is why the names sit so naturally on a stage placard. They feel like pet names because in the story that is what they are, given by the Segyein owners who bought the children.

The Segyein themselves sound nothing like their humans. Guardian names such as Urak, Unsha and Heperu use harder stops, back-of-the-throat consonants and unusual clusters, the kind of sounds that signal an alien mouth. Fan creators follow the same split: a human OC gets a gentle two-syllable name that could be whispered in a duet, while their owner gets something with kh, rr, sh or a glottal break that no contestant could sing.

This generator gives you both. The first part of the list is human contestant names, Korean and international, pitched to match the canon cast; the second part is Segyein names for guardians, judges and sponsors, so an OC and their owner can be named together.

Tips for choosing a name

  • Give a human OC a name of one or two syllables that ends on a vowel or soft consonant (Mizi, Sua, Luka, Remi, Sena). If it would not fit comfortably on a stage placard next to Till, it is too long.
  • Make Segyein names sound physically different: use kh, rr, sh, th, zh, doubled consonants, and the occasional apostrophe or hyphen, as in Urak, Heperu, Ka'Vel or Ot-Ruun.
  • Name owner and pet as a pair. A gentle human name against a harsh guardian name mirrors the show's power imbalance without a word of backstory.
  • Mix Korean and Western names across a group of OCs. The canon cast does (Hyuna and Hyun-woo beside Ivan, Luka and Isaac), so an all-Korean or all-English group reads as less authentic.
  • Avoid naming an OC after a canon character with one letter changed (Mizzi, Tell). Fans spot it immediately; pick a different name with the same softness instead.

Frequently asked questions

How are characters named in Alien Stage?

Humans have short, soft names, a mix of Korean (Hyuna, Hyun-woo, Sua) and Western (Ivan, Luka, Isaac, Dewey, Till), often one or two syllables. The alien Segyein, such as Urak, Unsha and Heperu, have harsher names with guttural consonants and clusters.

What are the Segyein in Alien Stage?

The Segyein are the alien species that rules Earth's survivors in the series. They keep humans as pets, raise them in Anakt Garden, and enter them in the Alien Stage singing competition, acting as owners, guardians and sponsors of the contestants.

Can I use these names for an Alien Stage OC?

Yes, that is what they are for. Canon names are included as reference points, but the rest are original, so you can name a contestant, a rebel from Hyuna's group, a Segyein guardian, or an entire round's lineup without reusing a character from the show.

Should my OC have a Korean name or an English one?

Either works. The show mixes both freely, so choose whichever fits the character's backstory and sounds good next to their guardian's name. Many fans pick a short Korean given name with no surname, matching how the canon humans are credited.
