Albion Online takes its name from the oldest name for Britain, and the world leans into it: Caerleon, Lymhurst, Thetford, Martlock, Bridgewatch and Fort Sterling sit on a Royal Continent fought over by Keepers, Heretics, Morgana cultists, the Undead and the Avalonians. Character names work best when they sound like they belong on that map. Arthurian and Welsh names (Gwydion, Eluned, Peredur, Branwen), Cornish names (Jago, Morwenna, Kenver), and Old English names (Wulfric, Aethelwyn, Leofric) all feel native, and the in-game rules of one word, letters only, three to sixteen characters suit them well.

Because most short real names are already taken on the single global server, many players go for compounds that read like a place or a title: Ironveil, Thornhallow, Ravensworth, Duskwarden. The list here mixes those styles by faction flavor, with leafy Keeper names like Rootwarden and Briarwolf, dark Morgana and Undead names like Skelvane and Crypthollow, and bright Avalonian and Royal names like Avalorn, Sunwarden and Crownguard. Medieval occupational surnames (Fletcher, Verderer, Armourer) round it out.

The last block is guild names that nod to zones, Hellgates, the Mists, Roads of Avalon and ZvZ culture, for anyone founding or renaming a guild.
