Trandoshan Name Generator

Trandoshans are the reptilian hunters of Trandosha, worshippers of the Scorekeeper who grants jagannath points for kills, and the traditional enemies of the Wookiees on neighboring Kashyyyk. Their names sound the way they look: Bossk (whose name means devours his prey), his father Cradossk, the Clone Wars hunt-master Garnac, the salvager Gha Nachkt, the Republic Commando slaver Pekt and Legends figures like Ssk'ra, Krussk and Nakaron. Nearly all are one or two syllables, front-loaded with a hard consonant and closed with a hiss or a stop.

The key ingredients are doubled s clusters (ss, ssk, rrssk) that mimic a lizard's hiss, hard k, g and t stops at the end of a word, and rolled or doubled r's in the middle. Vowels are usually a single short a, o or u, and Trandoshans rarely use surnames; a hunter is known by one name and, if pressed, by his clan or his father's name (Bossk, son of Cradossk). Long, flowing names would sound like a Twi'lek, not a Trandoshan.

The list follows those rules with single names for hunters, slavers and mercenaries, plus a set of paired name-and-clan combinations for characters who need something more formal in a Black Sun or bounty guild scene.
