Telegram Bot Name Generator

Every Telegram bot has two names, and this generator covers both. The username is the handle people actually type or tap (@RemindMeLaterBot), and BotFather enforces hard rules on it: 5 to 32 characters, letters, digits and underscores only, and it must end in "bot" or "_bot" (case does not matter, so WeatherPingBot and weather_ping_bot are both valid). The display name is free text shown at the top of the chat, so a bot can be @GroupButlerBot with the display name Ollie the Organizer. Usernames are first-come-first-served and cannot be transferred, which is why obvious handles like @WeatherBot or @PollBot were taken years ago and most real bots use two- or three-word names.

The most useful Telegram bot names describe the job in CamelCase: DailyDigestBot, SplitTheBillBot, ServerSentryBot. Alliteration (FlashcardFoxBot, CouponCraneBot) makes a handle memorable without adding length, and a short coined word (Nudge, Tallyho, Quillo) works well as a display name when the bot is part of a product. Because Telegram shows the username in search results and inline queries, anything with numbers, leetspeak or stray underscores looks spammy next to the real thing.

When a handle you like is taken, try reordering the words, swapping a synonym (Alert, Ping, Watch, Minder), or adding the platform or niche (ForexFlashBot) rather than tacking on digits.
