When picking, think about how the name reads on a shop's artist wall, in a client's phone contacts, and as an @handle with a style keyword after it. Avoid names already used by well-known tattooers, and steer clear of Hori- names unless you're actually part of a Japanese lineage, since they carry weight in that community.
