Piglin Name Generator

Piglins are the Nether's gold-obsessed pig-folk, found in crimson forests, nether wastes and the bastion remnants they guard. They snort and grunt rather than speak, they barter when you throw them gold ingots, and their brutes ignore gold armour and charge with golden axes. Good piglin names lean into that: short guttural sounds built from hard consonants (Gruk, Vrukka, Thrakka, Zhogra), the kind of name that reads like a snort, plus an epithet about what a piglin actually cares about, so Goldtooth, Bartertusk, Hoofcrusher and Bridgewarden fit better than generic fantasy titles.

In practice most players are naming a piglin with a name tag, either one they have pulled through a portal into the Overworld or a zombified piglin they keep around. That is where the puns live: Porkchop, Sir Oinksalot, Pigasso, Hamwise, Chris P. Bacon. A second popular style is gold and Nether themed names like Ingot, Nugget, Karat, Soulsand Sam and Netherbrand, which also work for pet hoglins and striders.

For roleplay, SMP lore and fan fiction, the list includes titled piglins (Grand Bartermaster Zul, Warchief Gorrak, Matriarch Zuzza) and full names for brutes and bastion clans. Pair a guttural first name with a Nether epithet and you have a character who sounds like it belongs on the other side of the portal.
