Paintball Name Generator

Paintball names come in three sizes. The smallest is the callsign printed on the back of a jersey or shouted across the field: one or two punchy syllables like Splat, Welt, Havoc or Viper that a teammate can hear over the chatter of markers. Speedball players often borrow the sport's own vocabulary, so Snake, Dorito, Back Center, Lane Burner and Bonus Ball all double as handles, while woodsball and scenario players lean toward nature and military callsigns such as Timber, Copperhead or Mortar.

The middle size is the persona handle, usually a joke earned the hard way. Overshoot Otis, Gogged Greg, Reg Leak Reggie, Paint Check Pete and Three Ten Tony all describe something that happened on the field, and the best ones stick for years. Slang like chrono, ramping, wiping, bouncing and chopping paint gives you dozens of ways to name a teammate after their worst habit.

The largest is the team name. Tournament squads favor two-word alliteration (Velocity Vandals, Dorito Dynamos), rec and woodsball crews name themselves for their field or region (Quarry Crew, Pine Barrens Paintballers), and scenario armies go bigger with words like legion, brigade or battalion. Whatever you choose, it should fit on a jersey and survive being read aloud by a ref at the chrono station.
