Fashion model names have a recognizable texture because the industry is genuinely international and agencies like names that travel. Any show's call sheet shows the same mix: Brazilian and Dutch surnames next to Nigerian, Korean, Polish and Senegalese ones, often paired with first names that are short, soft and easy to pronounce in Paris, Milan and New York at once. A name like Ines Castellane, Adaeze Okonkwo or Emil Lindqvist works because it is clearly from somewhere and reads cleanly on a comp card.

Mononyms are the other convention. A single name (Saskia, Romée, Zev, Cato) signals an established or editorial-leaning model, and it is also the easiest way to build a professional alias that stays separate from a legal name. Agencies do sometimes suggest tweaks: shortening a long surname, dropping a middle name, or choosing a first name that is not already represented on the board. What they rarely do is invent something glossy; real model names are ordinary names from real places, chosen for rhythm.

Use this list for a modeling alias, a fictional model in a novel or screenplay, a Sims or roleplay character, or a portfolio mockup. Two or three syllables per part, one strong consonant and a clear ending is the pattern to listen for.
