Maormer Name Generator

The Maormer are the Sea Elves of Pyandonea, the fog-bound island kingdom south of Summerset ruled for millennia by the immortal King Orgnum. They are chameleon-skinned, white-eyed and pale, they tame sea serpents, and their Sea Viper fleets have raided the Altmer coast since the Merethic Era. Lore gives us only a handful of Maormer names, mostly from The Elder Scrolls Online: Orgnum himself, the ambassador Ulondil, and the Tempest Island crew of Stormreeve Neidir, Commodore Ohmanil, Sonolia the Matriarch, Valaran Stormcaller and Yalorasse the Speaker.

Those examples show the pattern. Maormer names are built on the same Aldmeris roots as Altmer names, so endings in -il, -dil, -an, -asse and -wen sound right, but the canon names lean a little harder and shorter than Summerset's flowing court names, and Orgnum's guttural -um ending suggests an older, rougher strand. Ranks are maritime rather than courtly: Stormreeve, Commodore, Admiral, Speaker and Matriarch appear in the game, and storm-magic titles such as Stormcaller fit the Maormer's weather-witching.

This generator mixes the canon names with hundreds of original ones in the same phonology, plus ranked names for a Sea Viper captain and epithets that reference serpents, squalls, brine and the Drowned King for a character who has earned a reputation on the waves.
