About knights of Ren names
The Knights of Ren are the masked dark side marauders of the Star Wars sequel films, and their names come in two shapes. Kylo Ren carries Ren as a second name. The six knights who appear beside him in the films go by one name each: Vicrul, Ap'lek, Ushar, Trudgen, Kuruk and Cardo. Those names are short and blunt, built on hard consonants, and one of them breaks in the middle with an apostrophe.
This list gives both forms. About half of the 1,000 names are single names in that register, from heavy ones such as Varkul, Gorvash and Threll to quieter ones such as Sedge, Lissar and Nyreth. Roughly a third pair a short given name with Ren, as in Draven Ren, Vosk Ren or Sella Ren. The rest are apostrophe names like Ush'tek and Sa'vell, plus a small group with an epithet, such as Orvek the Hollow.

How to choose knights of Ren names
- Pick the form first. A single name such as Morvuk or Kordan echoes the six knights of the films, while a Name Ren form such as Tessik Ren echoes Kylo Ren. Decide whether your whole group shares one form or mixes the two.
- Favor names that land in one or two hard beats. These characters are defined by masks and weapons more than by dialogue, so Vask or Krodan suits them better than a long, flowing name.
- Give each member of a group a different opening sound and length. Vicrul, Ap'lek, Ushar, Trudgen, Kuruk and Cardo all start differently, which helps six similar figures stay easy to tell apart.
- Keep apostrophes rare. One apostrophe name in a group stands out, while a whole squad of them blurs together. Pick one, such as Tor'vek or Ly'ress, and leave the rest plain.
- Save an epithet for the character your story follows. Malveth the Unseen or Tarsuk Nine-Scars carries more weight when the rest of the band has plain names.
