Iron Warriors Name Generator

Iron Warriors names come from Olympia, the Primarch Perturabo's adopted homeworld, and Black Library has always given the IV Legion a Hellenic flavour: Kydomor Forrix, Barban Falk, Berossus, Toramino, Erasmus Golg and the loyalist Warsmith Barabas Dantioch. The pattern is a classical Greek given name (Lykon, Demetrion, Archelaos, Nikostratos) followed by a short, hard surname with lots of k, r, v and double consonants (Kaux, Vrenn, Skarne, Ghalcar). Later, more daemon-touched Iron Warriors like Honsou or Kroeger drop the surname entirely, so a single harsh name is just as authentic for a ten-thousand-year-old veteran.

Rank matters as much as the name. The Legion is organised into Grand Companies under Warsmiths, with the Triarchs, the Stor-Bezashk siege specialists, the Dodekatheon lodge and Perturabo's Iron Circle as elite circles. Pairing a name with the right title (Warsmith, Siege-Captain, Warpsmith, Havoc Sergeant, Obliterator) instantly says what the character does and how senior he is.

Deed-names for Iron Warriors should reflect siegecraft rather than glory: the Breacher, the Wallbreaker, the Counterbattery, Slagheart. Cold, grudging and practical suits the Legion far better than the flamboyant epithets of the World Eaters or Emperor's Children.
