Base Name Generator

A good base name does two jobs: it tells your team where to meet and it tells raiders what kind of people live there. The names that stick in multiplayer games almost always follow one of a few shapes. Place-noun compounds like Ironhold, Stormwatch and Ravenspire sound like something that has stood for a hundred years. A descriptive word plus a structure (Blackwater Depot, Nightfall Bunker, Sunken Hangar) reads as a real installation. Article names like The Crow's Nest, The Hive or The Kennel feel like in-jokes between the people who built them, and numbered sites like Outpost 31 or Silo Eighteen suggest a network that goes far beyond the one you can see.

Match the name to the build. A mountain fortress in Minecraft or Valheim wants stone words: hold, keep, spire, crag, gate. A starter shack in Rust or a Fallout settlement wants something rougher or funnier, like Rustbucket Row or Dirt Hut Deluxe. Underground and hidden bases suit warren, burrow, hollow and cellar; coastal and island builds suit dock, cove, rig and harbor.

Keep it to one or two words so it fits a sign, a map marker and a clan chat message, and avoid anything that announces valuable loot to passing raiders.
