A World of Warcraft warlock name has to do two jobs at once: sound like it belongs to the character's race, and hint that this person traffics with demons. The canon warlocks show the range. Gul'dan and Ner'zhul are orcish; Kanrethad Ebonlocke and Jubeka Shadowbreaker are humans of the Black Harvest; Ritssyn Flamescowl is a Forsaken; Wilfred Fizzlebang is a gnome who summoned something he could not control. Player names are a single word of 2 to 12 letters with no spaces, numbers, or apostrophes, so the Gul'dan style only works for NPCs and the names here are mostly written to fit the box as-is.

Race sets the phonology. Orc and Mag'har names use hard consonants (Grubnar, Zharkul); Forsaken and human warlocks suit old Lordaeron names with a gothic edge (Mordrake, Ignatius, Ravenholt); blood elves and void elves lean on liquid, vowel-heavy syllables (Vaeloran, Syranna); trolls drop the apostrophes but keep the rhythm (Zulmok, Tazanji); gnomes and goblins get fizzing, mechanical names (Bimblewick, Razdunk) that make a felguard-wielding tinker funnier.

The Burning Legion entries, from dreadlords like Tichondrius to the eredar of Argus, are there for flavour: borrow their sound, not their names. Pick one that fits your spec, too. Affliction names lean toward rot and sorrow, Destruction toward fire and ruin, Demonology toward binding and command.
