Spiritborn Name Generator

The Spiritborn is the class Diablo 4 added with Vessel of Hatred, and it is rooted in Nahantu, the jungle region around Kurast and Teganze. Blizzard built Nahantu's look and sound from several real-world sources at once: the Umbaru and their Teganze villages carry Bantu-flavored names from Diablo 3's Witch Doctor era (Nazeebo, Zunimassa, Mbwiru Eikura), while the temples, glyphs and stepped stone of Kurast lean Mesoamerican and Andean. The Spirit Guardians themselves show the blend: Kwatli the Jaguar, Rezoka the Eagle, Wumba the Gorilla and Balazan the Centipede, and the Spiritborn companion Eru.

A Spiritborn name that sounds right therefore usually comes from one of four wells: Nahuatl (Ocelotl, Cuauhtli, Citlali), Maya (Balam, Itzel, Yaxkin), Quechua (Amaru, Killa, Wayra) or Swahili, Yoruba, Shona and Zulu names (Zuberi, Ayomide, Tendai, Naledi). Mixing two of them, as Blizzard does, gives invented names like Tzeru, Nahzumi or Ikuzan that feel native to Nahantu without belonging to any one culture.

Every single-word name on this page is 2-12 letters with no spaces or symbols, so it will pass the Diablo 4 character creation screen. The two-part names with spirit epithets (Themba Vinecrusher, Metztli Moonjaguar) are for clan lore, fan fiction and forum handles where you have room to spell out which Guardian your Spiritborn follows.
