Mag'har Orc Name Generator

The Mag'har are the uncorrupted orcs: brown-skinned clans of Draenor who never drank the demon blood, from the Garadar survivors led by Greatmother Geyah to the alternate-Draenor Frostwolf, Warsong, Blackrock, Shattered Hand, Bleeding Hollow, Burning Blade, Thunderlord and Laughing Skull warriors who joined the Horde as an allied race. Their names follow standard Orcish sound rules but lean old-fashioned: one or two heavy syllables built on hard consonants (Thraka, Kharzul, Drokka, Gorrok), open back vowels, and a glottal apostrophe marking a syllable break rather than decoration (Nar'gash, Thar'gul, Geya'rah). Female names are softer and usually end in -a, -ka, -ra or -sha (Draka, Geyah, Ghura, Mazha).

Orcs carry no family surnames. A second name is an earned epithet (Wolfbrother, Deadeye, Bloodfury, Hellscream) or the clan itself (Durotan of the Frostwolves), and many Mag'har are known by a title such as Farseer, Blademaster, Overlord or Warlord. The epithet usually describes a deed, a weapon or a spirit animal, which is why so many end in -fang, -tusk, -maw or -howl.
